Great apartment slightly noisy heater
Former Tenant
Pros:
Everything was great, extremely responsive management, updated apartment. Well maintained and communicative.
Cons:
The heater was loud but when I complained the issue was addressed. The heater still makes some noise currently but I guess thats all pipe heaters in nyc.

Nice but not worth the rent hike
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet neighbors, good heat, laundry downstairs, live-in super
Cons:
Pest control was not taken seriously and we had to hire external help. The super would bring over realtors and unidentified real-estate people without contacting us before-hand. Management is slow to respond to any requests, and when they do, they are sometimes snarky. We began renting during COVID, but for our renewal, they raised the rent over 100%.
Advice to owner:
Take your tenant's requests and inquiries seriously.

Badly managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
well located, apartments have good bones and are a lovely size
Cons:
rodents, building looks like its falling apart, fittings and appliances in the apartment were shoddily put in and we had strange issues with a gas leak
Advice to owner:
fix basic building wide issues like rodents.

Good location. Badly managed building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and rent. Apartments are decently sized
Cons:
Building is extremely badly maintained, super is unresponsive, garbage is kept in unsanitary manner, multiple infestations of mice, roaches etc and no response from the management
Advice to owner:
Respond to tenant complains! Hire a proactive super and clean up the building. Deal with infestations on a building level.
