Terrible management, smelly, unsafe, revolving door of supers
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is a target across the street
Cons:
Management will never answer you. I’ve had 6 superintendents within my one year of living here. The walls are paper-thin and the Jamaican place next door is SO loud — you will think you moved into a nightclub. 80% of the time you exit the building there will be a homeless person sleeping on the step or someone selling drugs
Advice to owner:
Do better

Bad management + rats + roaches + garbage + noise
Former Tenant
Pros:
decent looking building. washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Cons:
thin thin thin walls - can hear everything. roaches and rats. Big and small roaches. Rats galore in the backyard and sometimes they venture inside. They are all over in the basement. Mice in some units too.
management is non responsive and generally just downright crook. They will never fix anything.
Management will also try to raise your rent an unreasonable amount upon lease expiration. We are talking $1100 additional on a glorified studio apartment.
Advice to owner:
sell to a real landlord.

Horrible management! Stay away!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Absolutely nothing. It was a nightmare
Cons:
Everything. Garbage are never taken out on time, all the cans are full. Management never answer calls and takes a long time to get in touch with emails. Even when you get on the phone with them, they all have a nasty attitude. The Super for the building is beyond lazy and rude! Never wanna do any work, when he said he will come at this time, shows up 2 hours later... so you will be wasting your time waiting. As if you guys are inconvenience to them. Also these apps are absolutely not sound proof. You can hear your upstairs using the bathroom. Don’t think you can ever get a good night sleep. The owner of this company is Steven Corman who ended up at Rikers island two years ago for being shady to all his tenants. So if you really wanna rent here good luck.

Worst management and super!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is close to work.
Cons:
The super had not fixed a single problem in the apartment since we moved in, and has ignored most phone calls and texts. He doesn’t complete service requests. I overheard the super say “The people in this building complain too much.” Well, we wouldn’t complain if you actually did your job.
The building manager ignores phone calls and emails and never follows through. They have complete disregard for their tenants, and I would not recommend this management company to anyone.
