what’s up with the wilshire

- Angel the super is nice
- felt safe
- both bedrooms are decent sized
- good closet space
- working elevator
Cons:
- hallways on floors are very rarely cleaned
- stairwell is never cleaned. Same dead roaches were there for years
- packages stolen multiple times
- had on again off again roach issues

Deliver packages elsewhere

Good people and management staff, laundry in building.
Cons:
Lock didn’t work well, saw a couple roaches, didn’t get great light

Make a better recycling/garbage disposal system

Spacious but dingy

Pros:
All units have balconies, spacious for the price, can’t hear much through walls or ceiling. Super is nice and pretty responsive.
Cons:
Everything is dingy and poorly kept. When I moved in, hairs in the bathroom had been painted over and the caulking in the bathroom was SO poorly done. A baseboard came off just from touching it and had been glued on. German roaches on a high floor - not a ton, and they have a monthly exterminator but they clearly live in the walls of the building. Laundry room has been cleaned about every 6 months, lobby is gross.
Advice to owner:
Clean the common spaces every once in a while!

outdated appliances, outdated hallways, below average for the city but some pests,
Advice to owner:
update appliances. No one likes to live in a place that makes them feel like they are in the 80s

Location, south facing gets a lot of natural light, balcony, nice super
Cons:
Pest problems, elevator issues, dirty common spaces, a lot of young tenants moved in
