Great Building - but beware of pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great staff Laundry in Building Roofdeck Large living space
Cons:
Cockroaches and mice frequently - lived there for 2.5 years and saw about 5-6 mice in total - building was helpful in exterminating but ultimately it was a frequent problem.

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff is excellent - very responsive to needs and overall great people. My unit was cozy and immediately felt like home, lots of closets and space compared to newer NYC buildings. Great mix of tenants, from retired people who have lived there to decades to students. If you get in at a good price, it’s more than worth living here. They keep the building clean (I’ve heard a few people complain of some pests but they are quick to fix it - it’s nyc and an older building but they do well to maintain it)
Cons:
There are only 2 elevators to service ~200+ units, and one of them is slow or often broken/out of order. While they try to get it fixed quickly it is a recurring problem, and could be a big problem if you live on a higher floor and don’t feel like taking the stairs.
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work. Maybe try to fix/replace the elevators. Please take care of your staff, they’re awesome.
