Affordable building, surrounding area continues to improve
Former Tenant
Pros:
We had pretty good natural light and zero street noise being in the back of the building. Loved having a grocery store, movie theater, Target, pharmacy and dry cleaner all less than one block away - that was my favorite thing about the place! Unit was cozy, and our superintendent Vilson was amazing.
Cons:
We had a pretty big mouse problem for the last year of our three year lease - that, how far this was from the nearest subway, and the smaller unit size were the biggest reasons we moved out. The overall curb appeal and lobby / hallways needs a lot of work - but that's typical for NYC. Also, slowest elevator ever, and our hot water went out about once every few months.
Advice to owner:
A good eye for design and some paint would really improve how the lobby area and hallways look. Currently, those make a pretty bad first impression. I hope you got the mouse problem under control!!
