Worst construction management

Pros:
At least they are trying to fix stuff
Cons:
Everything breaks and it’s takes them MONTHS to repair. Don’t think I have ever lived here in my five years and the elevators actually worked. One has been out for five months. Five months!!?!?
Advice to owner:
Fix things quicker. Invest in better people and things so they can be fixed easier

great staff and manager, especially Jerry
Cons:
everything is broken. elevators constantly down. redoing the entire lobby floor...again. little notice or communication for how long doors will be closed.

Water systems constantly down for repairs.

they replaced the unit HVAC and they are terrible. they can't seem to do any work on the building correctly.
Advice to owner:
give notice to how long repairs will take. I moved out as I can't live with no communication.

Very nice doorman and amazing location

Pros:
Overall well maintained. Lovely terrace with amazing views. Most staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons:
Seems like there is constant construction. Water is turned off a lot to facilitate this. Zero noise insulation from neighbors.

Hire a manager with customer service (eg hospitality) experience and watch rents soar

Best place I’ve ever lived

Pros:
Location is amazing but it is not all about location here. The doormen are kind and caring and always looking out for their tenants. They go above and beyond. The property manager, Gerry, is one of my favorite people. She takes care of everyone in the building and becomes family. The neighbors are great, everyone is friendly. Walls are concrete so really sound proof. Constantly upgrading so nothing is pre-war, brand new great appliances and windows.
Cons:
Honestly had to really search for something here and the only thing I could think is roof closes at 10 and when weather is great in summer sometimes you want the night to go on a bit but makes sense for neighbors
