Lived here for 12 months
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors were polite and the landlord takes his job seriously and seems to care about his tenants.
Cons:
Roaches and mice were stubborn and could not be controlled. My roommate and I kept the place very clean and had no food out-even resorted to putting spices in the fridge. Would find roaches all over my cutting board 15 minutes after cooking, wall plug ins, sticky traps, and raid did not work. Was not a huge problem in the begging, but got worse over the last few months of our stay, not sure if we had messy neighbors move in or management got lazy with extermination but if that problem is not fixed I don't recommend!
Advice to owner:
Be more consistent with exterminations and take complaints of pests seriously!

Look elsewhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's conveniently located and fairly quiet despite the proximity to Times
Cons:
given the orientation of the building, it is DARK. It's also an old, old building, so we struggled with fully exterminating roaches and mice
Advice to owner:
Your office isn't terribly responsive. If you want tenants to renew, I'd recommend incentives.
