Cute building terrible big problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
My apartment was super cute and charming. It had very tall ceilings and a large floor length mirror that was original to the building. There was also a brick wall.
Cons:
The brick wall was not well maintained and was crumbling apart and pieces were always just falling off. The building was also infested with roaches and I had a mouse/rat living in the kitchen wall at one point. Building management didn’t do much about bugs and never offered to spray or have pest control, they wanted to just “bomb” the apartment which you can’t do to soft surfaces and would have spread toxic chemical all over my bed, couch, everything and wouldn’t actually get around the floor boards where it needed to be sprayed.
Advice to owner:
Spend some time filling holes and cracks around the building in the walls and floors and invest in some actual pest control.
