Good first apartment!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator unit with laundry downstairs. Close to train and near every type of food imaginable. 10 day grace period to pay rent. Windows in every room in my unit too!
Cons:
Bad management but what else is new in NYC. Sometimes sketchy people hangout nearby late at night.
Advice to owner:
Respond to maintenance requests more promptly.

Decent for being in the thick of it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the double access doors, easy access to most trains and the west side highway, present super, laundry on site, generally a safe building despite location, elevator, responsive super, quiet neighbors, clear access to pest control
Cons:
Took 3 years for them to fix the call box so we could see and talk to those buzzing in, lots of stolen packages, lots of tenant turnover

Good location, bad building and management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location and it has an elevator
Cons:
The heat is extreme and there’s no way to control it. There are sometimes people in the building door way who are homeless. They eventually move but it’s a problem. Has had multiple issues with packages being stolen. Management is pretty unresponsive and not helpful. Super is also not too friendly, and the area can be loud
Advice to owner:
To be more responsive and care more about the tenants
