Avoid at all costs. SLUM LORD
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient location, pre-war details
Cons:
The worst management in NYC. They don't care about their buildings or tenants. The building went 6 weeks without heat or hot water in the middle of the winter (2022 when it was frigid). Forced to sleep with layers of clothes on and told by management to "buy an electric heater". They didn't want to replace a $50 part on the boiler and let us all suffer. There were/are multiple lawsuits against the building. The neighbors are kind-we were all in the same sinking boat. They have another building that burned down and they wouldn't help the tenants find new housing. The front door wouldn't lock, stair railings were lose, garbage out front, soggy floor in the kitchen. The pile of tickets on the lobby wall grew weekly.
