Overpriced, but great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location was great, easy to get around, our unit had a backyard which was perfect for hosting
Cons:
We had several mice in our unit, the building is old and the super seemed irritated with our requests.
Advice to owner:
Fix rodent problem

A Former Tenant
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is near very good restaurants
Cons:
The management company is not very responsive and the super was rude more times than not. Also, we had a 1st floor unit with a private outdoor space. Lot of bugs in the apartment and a mice problem toward the end of the lease.
Advice to owner:
Should get a better management company. They were rude and unresponsive.

It’s a give and take building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord and super are responsive and helpful.
Cons:
Water lines must be all connected. Taking a quick shower is impossible bc the temperature is always changing. Every shower I’ve taken since I moved in 7 months ago goes from hot to cold connnnnstantly.
Advice to owner:
Fix the water situation. I pay too much in rent for someone else’s dish washer and toilet to control the temperature of my shower. Every. Single. Time.

Look elsewhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
Naser, the superintendent, is the kindest man and goes out of his way for you. If you need anything, go to him, don't bother with the building manager or management company.
On the surface, the apartments are very nice and remodeled. Modern appliances and finishes. Pet friendly with no extra fee.
Cons:
Where to begin...
-We had very noisy upstairs neighbors who caused water damage to our apartment on 3 separate occasions. Building management did nothing. They also apparently had a cockroach infestation, because once they moved out and the construction crew came in, we had bugs for the first time in all our time of living here.
-Unannounced construction in the building for at least half the year, so get used to constant drills and banging.
-THE NEIGHBORS. DEAR GOD THE NEIGHBORS. If you're unlucky enough to live on the C side, there is a family two buildings down with a yard and 3 children who do nothing but scream. Then immediately next door are 3 man-children who play beer pong like an Olympic sport even when it's 1 degree wind chill well past 1am. We've complained to our building, their building, filed noise complaints. Nothing is done. You will never be able to enjoy your apartment in the summer with the noise. Say goodbye to open windows.
-We tried to move out because the noise level was so bad from construction and neighbors that we were literally unable to work from home. They refused to break our lease but said we could try a lease takeover. Meanwhile, they are advertising apartments in the building ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS CHEAPER than what we were approved to offer, and offering laundry service, making it all but impossible for us to find someone. OH, but when they asked us to renew our lease, they raised our rent. With the identical apartment next to us selling for $1,000 less a month.
-Packages CONSISTENTLY get stolen, especially because people in the building will prop the doors open. Mail boxes also pried open and entire floors of mail stolen.
- Ashley at Harlington and Nathan the building manager will never answer your calls or emails. They will when you're new, then after that they could care less about you.
Advice to owner:
It's not like they care. Whatever I can type here I've already said to them.
