Felt Like Home
Former Tenant
Pros:
Alex the super is very responsive and friends with everyone on the block. Almost feels like the same protection as a doorman or an added sense of security. I’ve also lived in the building for years and never had a mouse or roach. The hallways are always incredibly clean.
Cons:
The walls are ridiculously thin. I can hear all my neighbors conversations and any noise in the shared wall in the bathroom. There is no privacy. They also raise the rent a considerable amount each year as they consider it a “luxury” building. Also, I’ve had several packages stolen from the area under the stairs.
Advice to owner:
Work with your tenants more.

Decent Enough Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
My apartment was very quiet. Faced the rear of the building. Nice view of trees with other buildings beyond them.
Cons:
The stairwell would smell of garbage in the summer. And one neighbor across the hall was horrible with noise and smoking.

Unresponsive Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
No radiator and good light
Cons:
Management doesn’t really take action with issues until you threaten them with a city complaint. Hallways are dirty. Took part of the security deposit for cleaning, even though we already did
Advice to owner:
Don’t take chunks of security deposits for standard cleaning. Would never rent from them again
