Luckily it was cheap
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here for years and the price was good, management was NOT. Pests, hot water and heat issues. Mail constantly stolen. Juan who was the super was very kind however.
Cons:
area is dirty, its a dark building. super doesnt live in the building at at least didnt when i lived there. Management is rude and unresponsive and truly does not care about the tenants

Just don’t
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to a lot and that’s about it
Cons:
Where to start? It’s got a serious mice infestation and there’s constantly urine by the mailboxes. Nice, huh? Whats worse is this building is poorly managed by a man who doesn’t care about anything other than the rent checks each month, his name is Alan Brachfeld btw. He’s basically a slum lord. We didn’t have heat for an entire winter and when all the residents came together he threw 500 dollars at us and then one by one didn’t renew our leases bc we filed 411 complaints about him. Juan, the super, is kind but doesn’t know how to actually maintain a building, let alone do Alan’s construction projects. Worst of all he has his secretary, Gwen manage the building complaints, rent and any other issues bc he doesn’t care about his tenants or the building. Do yourself a favor and pass on this dump, know the low rent is alluring but trust me, not worth it.
Advice to owner:
Sell this building, you’re clearly not cut out to be a landlord.
