Not bad but not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apt is in a good location. Lots of good restaurants and 5 min walk from the 50th st C & E trains. Super is pretty responsive and got to most of our requests within 2 days. Our unit faced a back courtyard so it was pretty quiet which is nice. In-Unit Washer/Dryer and also a small dishwasher.
Cons:
Very small units. Only one side of the apartment gets any natural light so it’s pretty dark. We did have an issue with ants not too long after we moved in. And also a mouse problem towards the end of our lease. Our washer did break at one point and we had to wait like a month to get a new one. Had some problems with package thieves as well.
Advice to owner:
Take out trash more regularly since that was what was probably attracting rodents.

434 W 52nd st
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice building and updated building without a doorman.
Cons:
Halfway house across the street which is not managed well by their management.
Advice to owner:
Invest in tenants with families. It’s unfortunate that families are forced out for more profit.

Where’s the gas?
Former Tenant
Pros:
Updated appliances and living spaces.
Cons:
There has been no cooking gas since I moved in on 5/21, not sure if it’s going to be fixed…
Advice to owner:
Get the gas fixed.
