Review of the Nicole
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the people who looks after the building and residents on a day to day basis. The apartment and the common areas are well maintained. The rental process was also very smooth with their in-house agent. The location is very convenient and has many public transportation options.
Cons:
The elevators have been going through renovation for a long time and so there has just been one elevator (out of two) that has been running. The sound insulation is pretty bad. I can hear everything on the streets.
Walls can be a bit thin. Elevators are often broken or in service.

Pros:
Management, amenity space, doorman are great
Cons:
Noise around the avenue. Ambulances going to hospital can be loud through some nights

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is clean. Staff is great. Gym is a full, functioning gym. This is a great place to live.
Cons:
Had issues with disruptive other tenant and staff wasn’t able to fix it. :( but other than that no complaints other than them increasing the rent so much!

My Year at The Nicole
Former Tenant
Pros:
* Nice lobby, facilities and apartments * Building staff is excellent * Great location that’s close to amenities and transit.
Cons:
* Multiple maintenance issues (several elevator outages, water shut-offs, etc.) * Constant construction outside on the infrastructure beneath 9th Avenue * My experience with Gotham (the landlord) was mixed - certain people I interacted with were either unresponsive or rude.
