Good quiet for Hells Kitchen
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its on a quiet street compared to the rest of HK, neighbors are also quiet and friendly. Overall appliances and apartment itself is in good shape they do extermination often never experienced any bugs
Cons:
They do not get back to you quickly for maintenance responses 3-5 days and they never answer the direct line phone number which can be frustrating if you wanted something done asap. The main hallway and stairs can also be cleaner a needs to be more maintained
Advice to owner:
Be more attentive to renters especially in maintenance requests also common areas need to be attended and cleaned more often, there are far too many people living in the building to only surface level clean here and there

Pretty nice place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors and apartments are well kept. No problems with roaches. Maybe saw one in 1.5 years.
Cons:
Garbage can get fool over weekend but it’s manageable No dishwasher. Heat gets insane
Recycling room on ground floor hallway routinely overflows (e.g. cartons, bottles and trash spilling out of room). Bldg. Mngt says they have super mext door but that person will say they only pay to take out trash and recycling once a week. Trash causes roach problem in bldg. Bldg mngt does bare minimum repairs and does those as cheaply as possible. Eg. Need a new faucet: theyll buy something cheap from closest neighboorhood store that rusts and breaks within the year. Also, every year there will be a leak at some point coming from old radiators, old bathroom plumbing or damaged rooftop that will cause a leak that damages several apt. Ceilings. It will take months to repair the ceilings and theyll use any paint currently available in basement, whether ceiling paint or not.
Advice to owner:
Pay more up front to make long term repairs rather than half baked fixes by repair staff that routinely talk about cheap mngt firm. Resident turnover costs $! Pay to have trash removed from recycling room 3x a week, roaches can be really bad in summer.
