pretty good for NYC apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super (not live in) is very responsive + helpful. Affordable rent for my unit, and overall decent place, no major red flags! However there definitely are inconveniences (see cons). The place is what you’d expect for an old pre war building in NYC.
Cons:
Lots of rats and garbage outside of the building/on the street, but that is also NYC. Pretty far from subway lines. There is coin laundry in building but machines are definitely rundown and dirty. Packages are stolen often. Building smells sometimes especially in the summer.
Advice to owner:
Monitor stolen packages, take better overall care of building
