Great building steps from Central Park
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff is very attentive and friendly. 24 hour doorman and live-in super.
Cons:
Elevators are old, break down often and are slow. There is limited storage in the basement and it's all taken by long time residents.
Advice to owner:
Improve/replace elevators

Terrible Management, Doormen, etc.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice pre-war building on a quiet block, less than a block to Central Park.
Cons:
To start off, one of the doormen broke into our apartment on a Saturday when he knew we were out of town. We could not reach anyone at management over the weekend and when we finally got someone the following Monday, they were hardly apologetic and even refused to pay for us to get our locks changed. The building is so poorly managed that anyone can access your spare keys at anytime. There is no system for checking keys out or even keeping track of them. The management company doesn’t care about its residents and doesn’t train its employees.
Advice to owner:
Train your employees and come up with a better safer system to store residents’ keys.
