Sweet building with bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful neighbors. Beautiful prewar building. Very responsive super with online portal to submit requests. Excellent neighborhood with so much convenient to the location - Trader Joe’s, fairway, and plenty of restaurants. Even a massive movie theater that often hosts premiers.
Cons:
Horrible noise from the construction of the iceberg mansion a few doors down (google iceberg mansion upper west side to read about it in the times). The megacorp that owned the building when I lived there (Aimco) was AWFUL. They nickel and dimed for everything and notoriously tried to run out some long time tenants with invasive construction. They have since sold the building to a new management company but I hear they are no better.
