HORRIBLE property manager, great super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is at a great location and the super is very responsive to your needs. He manages cleanliness well. The units are spacious. The neighbors are generally very nice.
Cons:
The building manager is one of the most incompetent people I have ever met. He has absolutely 0 empathy or customer service skills and is incredibly rude whenever you talk to him. On top of that he is 100% ineffective at his job. The elevator in the building has been broken for 15 months and he originally estimated 6-8 months to repair. He rarely communicates and when he does it’s always vague and wrong. Additionally when we moved in we were told the scaffolding would be coming down within 6 months and it took 12. The floors / ceilings are thin so we can hear our upstairs neighbors constantly. We had a leak from upstairs in our bathroom that meant it was unusable and the property manager gave us the tiniest rent concession even though we had to pay to replace items and stay in a hotel.
