Looks better than it is
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and neighborhood
Cons:
Aside from the lobby which is designed to attract new tenants, the building is poorly maintained.
Advice to owner:
Why can't you do better? It's exploitative.

Have an attorney on retainer
Former Tenant
Pros:
It used to be a nice building.
Cons:
Serious plumbing and ventilation issues. There have been instances where there was waste water dripping from the ceiling and seeping through the walls.
Terrible management. Dakota is unprofessional, disrespectful and racist.
Advice to owner:
Stop breaking the law

Close to Central Park
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the location! Neighbors are nice and respectful. The super is responsive.
Cons:
Very noisy. Apartment has single-pane windows and you can hear every bit of the street noise 24/7. You can also clearly hear the people walking in the apartment above as well as their tv or music. The building needs updating, too. The elevator is regularly out of service and many of the appliances in the apartment are worn down.
