Unresponsive super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and quiet street
Cons:
The super is very unresponsive. We had no heat during the winter for over 4 weeks and the temperature in our bedroom was 50 degree. The super didn’t do anything even though we called every day until we send a mail to every Email contact we had from the building company, landlord, etc and told them that we will stop paying rent. Another example was that the mailbox started to break and the super didn’t replace it until it completely fell apart. USPS then refused to deliver the mail without a mailbox and we had to pick up our mail at USPS for 4 weeks until the super finally installed a new mailbox.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants and fix broken things in a timely manner.
