Hospital housing - great for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Subsidized housing. Affordable rent. Decent food options.
Cons:
Finishings aren’t the best, water pressure can be high without a regulator. Small things. Train access at Columbus circle can be annoying.
Advice to owner:
None

Grimy and small
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location / For us it was subsidized by an institution so rent was below market price.
Cons:
We had roaches infestation throughout our stay there. No matter how much you cleaned, it always felt dirty. Very small restroom.
Advice to owner:
Get it renovated. Hasn’t been touched since the 1970s it’s my guess.

Elevator problems and variable rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Renovated units are much cleaner and nicer than the non-renovated units
Great location
Cons:
Rents are highly variable
Elevator maintenance often means 1 working elevator and wait times >15 minutes
