Overall not bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator Close to Trader Joe’s the train, the bus Trash chute iirc Super nice receptionist at the package pickup desk Management not too bad at responding Private resident only courtyard area Safe area, walked around alone at all hours of the day and never felt in danger Lots of cute shops nearby
Cons:
Elevator when going down you felt like you were falling to your death All the garbage for all buildings was put in front of our building Tiny bathroom Chipped bathtub No central air or microwave

Great building- especially for college students
Former Tenant
Pros:
They are always up to date with maintenance, the security is pleasant, there’s laundry, mail security, a gym. They also always repaint the building. There’s also an elevator.
Cons:
It’s a bit noisy, but mainly because a lot of Juilliard students live there. They’re always playing music but at least they’re talented!
Advice to owner:
Make putting in service requests a bit easier

great location w/ a mice infestation
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has a great location w/ a short walk to the train great restaurants and a concierge that collets our packages for us
Cons:
We had a mice infestation the building was very responsive but the trauma of having multiple mice run through an apartment is a lot to handle. Also not the buildings fault but the neighbors are loud. Sometimes the actual block the building is on can feel unsafe at night

Overall, 7/10 it was a good first NYC apartment:
Former Tenant
Pros:
I really liked the location and the specific unit I was in. Courtyard was nice and having a gym in the building was convenient.
Cons:
Noise on the street was constant and definitely got the feeling that management didn’t care about the tenants just the money.

Small and pricey
Former Tenant
Pros:
Commute was great!
Cons:
The noise would be ridiculous and we went 16 hours without power one time because no one would answer/only one person who wasn’t responding had a key they needed
