Great Building Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building manager is helpful and responds quickly. Building is well-maintained and currently undergoing renovations to current and new apartments.
Cons:
First floor and basement apartments have problems with water bugs in some units and mice in others. Higher level apartments don’t seem to have this problem. Rent is pretty steep but utilities are always included due to the nature of the 150 year old historical building. Scaffolding outside the building blocks sunlight and has been up for multiple years with no sign of coming down in the future. Building owner also doesn’t accept rent payment in any format but a mailed check to a P.o. box and tends to not cash the checks for 1-2 weeks.
Advice to owner:
Please communicate with the building next door to get the scaffolding to come down. It’s an eyesore and causes people to congregate outside the building.
