Rats and roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location near express stops, great restaurants, parks, cultural events, and grocery stores.
Cons:
The building is infested with roaches and due to construction on West End Avenue in 2022, some apartments have huge gaps b/w the wall and the baseboards. Heating the place ends up being a huge expense in the winter, beyond the landlord provided radiator heating.
Also, the huge holes are the perfect size for NYC rats and roaches to run in and out of the apartment. Dealt with this and their solution was to stick steel wool in the holes and call it a day.
Advice to owner:
Fix the building before allowing anyone to live there
