Not great building in a great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, water pressure is good, elevator and laundry in building
Cons:
Building smells bad and frequently has flies and roaches. Units are small, dark, and outdated. Garbage is frequently left at the bottom of stairwell. There was a persistent fly issue in the building, I complained to the property manager Angela Cronk who responded that she had gone to the building and not seen any flies. I escalated and complained to 311 and upon their inspection, they issued a violation for the fly infestation. That should tell you all your need to know about the management of this building. Would not recommend.

Very loud and shit in the stairwell
Former Tenant
Pros:
Not too expensive, decent sized apartment for the price.
Cons:
Construction outside which wouldn't be a problem except that the windows block no noise. Packages are often stolen and the other month a homeless person got into the building and shit in the stairwell.

Reasonable Prices but Poor Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Good location near 72nd St station, grocery stores, parks, bars and restaurants - Reasonable prices
Cons:
- Persistent pest issues (mice and cockroaches) - Issues with heat given age of the building - Issues with elevator and buzzer system not working - Management seems generally indifferent to the state of the building, the complaints of tenants, etc
Advice to owner:
More focus on the upkeep of the building would probably go a long way in fixing some of the persistent issues (pests, heating issues, buzzer, etc). More of a focus on cleanliness would be great.
