June Homes unit
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Quiet
- Feels private
- D units get sunlight in bedroom
Cons:
- Cockroaches
- Missing dishwasher (it was advertised to have one)
- Missing LR closet and desk isn’t full-sized as advertised
- No access to trash (could be my own unit’s issue)
Advice to owner:
June Homes needs to be more thorough with inspection before move-ins

Poor management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. 1 block from central park and in a nice neighborhood of the UWS.
Cons:
Horrible management. They deducted our security deposit despite us leaving the apartment in better condition then when we started, not to mention the landlord is in California so how would she know what the apartment looks like. Took 6 months to get out radiator fixed. Building is very old and full of cracks. Building is right next to a restaurant and there was a 2 month span of serious rodent problems. Landlords only solution was to caulk the trimming which did nothing.

While it may be a slightly cheaper price than the overall market, and the location is great, definitely don't lease here. Look around just a little more and it will be more than worth it.
Advice to owner:
Have a management team that is responsible for decisions located directly in NY, not CA. Also fix the building from tipping over. It's leaning to the side and is bound to fall over within a year or so.
