Co-opt board harassment

Pros:
nice living area, good price, doorman, terrace
Cons:
Be forewarned that there is at least one board member whose spouse harasses their neighbors with impunity—constant phone calls re: “noise” (TV, one or two people laughing) in the living room on weekdays, sometimes as early as 6 p.m.; face-to-face harassment re: taking phone calls on the terrace on a weekend afternoon; slamming on the wall, intimidation, etc. Also received bogus complaints about “loitering” in public spaces (read: doing our laundry as quickly as possible to avoid aforementioned harassment). Between the board politics, poor plumbing, and pest issues, not worth the low rent in a desirable area.
Advice to owner:
Investigate aforementioned harassment and take action.
