A good facade
Pros
Safe Neighborhood, great water pressure in the apartment. Packages are always safe. Doormen are nice.
Cons
Slow elevators, constant construction in the building, maintnence and management loves to put a bandaid on things that are broken without getting to the true cause so I had to put in a request to fix the same things many times.
Decent building that's poorly taken care of and managed
Pros
The apartments are spacious, the doormen are helpful, and having the package room is nice.
Cons
The building has a lot of major water issues. The water gets shut off most months with little notice to residents. The kitchen and bathroom sinks often flood with backwash water spewing out. The building management tries to fix the issues themselves rather than hiring professional plumbers. There are often cockroaches seen in the hallways and stairwells. The gym equipment is old. The management company is incredibly unhelpful with questions about your lease.
