overall a great space and good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large space, recently redone, haven’t had big pest issues (knock on wood). It’s also quiet with relatively thick walls. Trash and recycling removal is regular.
Cons:
Cold in winter and lack of heat control. Water takes a long time to get hot and often pressure varies. A/C situation requires window units that don’t always do the job in summer. Typical problems of an older building

Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very few if any
Cons:
The building owners and especially the super are horrible. Unresponsive, rude, and unwilling to help with or fix any problems. They will insist there is no problem to avoid spending any money on repairs. Be warned that you can hear the subway from even the top floor apartments. The super is extremely extremely rude. He will make you feel uncomfortable if you are alone in the apartment with him. The building owners hide behind him to avoid dealing with anything.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super. Fix your problems.
