Good, Old Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s a nice building with kind neighbors. We were in the interior, so it was really quiet. Packages never got stolen.
Cons:
There were occasionally some pests - we had to deal with roaches and a mouse. Never major infestations, but they were there. Comes with the old building. There was a club that opened up downstairs that made a lot of noise, and I know this affected people living on the first few floors and in the front of the building.

Old and gross building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big living space. Some cute restaurants nearby.
Cons:
Massive cockroaches and its an issue. Also mice. Has a person who lives in the building but hangs out in the lobby all day with trash they collect from the street.

Don't expect much
Former Tenant
Pros:
LL is hands off - let's you live but doesn't really do much to keep up building maintain repsonsibilty.
Cons:
Bad upkeep. LL had historically illegally rented out units leading to bed bugs in multiple units. Also boiler breaks down every year in the coldest days if winter almost without fail and no rent credit issued.
Also he takes your security deposit for stupid things like cleaning the fridge
