Management was not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and clean
Cons:
Management was not very responsive and it took them months to fix my fridge. They never seemed to concerned that my fridge was not working and I had to chase them for months before it was fixed.

Nice building !
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cleanliness, location, redone unit
Cons:
Noise of my specific unit on lower level, windows extremely hard to open
Advice to owner:
Had a lot of hardware issues moving in which were resolved, but could’ve been easily fixed prior to renting out the unit.

Wouldn’t want anyone I love to live there
Former Tenant
Pros:
Vintage marble and tile bathroom with window, quiet block.
Cons:
Water heater needs to be replaced; at least once a month we had no hot water in our unit. Although the superintendent is nice to your face, he wrongly thinks he knows best even though his “fixes” to things are always cheap and temporary. Takes 3+ days for the super and/or repairperson to address anything that breaks, no matter how critical it is (ex. plumbing).
Advice to owner:
Get a property management software where tenants can file repair tickets and everyone in the building can communicate with each other. Super needs to be more organized. Also, get more washers and dryers. AJ Clarke staff is slow to respond to emails and short with their responses - comes off as rude/dismissive. AJ Clarke also ignores your calls - they will never call you back if you leave a voicemail.
