I've lived here for over 20 years...
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location. Landlord lives across the street and will answer texts if you really need something fast or are worried about something. They are professional, polite and decent people
Cons:
The apartments are fairly small, but they are all upgraded and refreshed when long-timers like myself move out. The apartment I'm leaving will likely be gorgeous after they refurbish.
Advice to owner:
Put some plants out front. Used to be a flowerbed, but they cemented over it. I'm certain they had a reason, but a little greenery makes a building so much more attractrive. Also, put heat thermostats in each apartment so we can turn it down when too hot. My apartment doesn't have that in the living room... gets way too hot.
