Nice Building Bad Block
Former Tenant
Pros:
Family friendly neighbors Everyone in the building is friendly and nice to each other for the most part The man in charge of cleaning the building is incredibly reliable, cleans the stairwells and elevator daily and takes care of the trash multiple times a day.
Cons:
Super is impossible to get in touch with. You have to remind him multiple times to come and then he comes at off hours or complains of the inconvenience.
Advice to owner:
Have a more responsive super to actually require him to tackle issues asap.

321 W review
Former Tenant
Pros:
updated, clean entrance and lobby, updated apartment with nice flooring and canned lighting.
Cons:
Noise from the back of the building happens frequently at all hours of the day and night, especially in the summer. Super is not very responsive to any issues we have brought up to him
Advice to owner:
get a better super

Lived here for 2 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive land lord.
Cons:
Can hear children crying and banging on floors. Outdoor Trash area is always overflowing. Consider the last 2 months of your lease to not be your personal space. Owner and agent were extremely intrusive touring apartment 3 times a day in the middle of a pandemic while we were working at home, with no regard for the tenant. Will find a way to take some of your deposit too.
Advice to owner:
Make very clear to your tenants what you plan on doing when they decide not to resign a lease, or change your business practices.
