Everything about this landlord is terrible. STEER CLEAR WHOLE YOU CAN!!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Somewhat large rooms.
Cons:
It is truly a slum. They never fix anything. We had our upstairs neighbor's TOILET WATER leak down onto our bathroom continuously. The super took weeks to fix the water leak upstairs but never touched the water damage on our walls and ceiling the entire duration of my lease. It took the landlord 14 months to pay our security deposit. They never respond to any texts or calls during my entire lease period. I went to the property management office only to find it is vacant according to their neighbors. Just steer clear while you can!

Just avoid it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Can’t think of any
Cons:
Don’t know where to start. It simply had all the issue you could imagine. Heat, water temperature, pests, bad smell, laundry room... I once saw the super wash his mop in the washer!
And landlord couldn’t care less. Before we moved out, he called and asked me to get new tenants in, without even sounding polite. Of course I didn’t, so ended up losing half of my security deposit.
Advice to owner:
Do your job!!

Terrible I would not recommend ever.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The area is decent
Cons:
Where do I begin. They have a rat and mouse infestation. Management is horrible. They fix things months later and it’s half ass. Run far away from this place. Google the reviews, they are awful.

Owner is former slum lord screwing students
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great area, apartment bones were amazing
Cons:
Kitchen and bathrooms were beyond out of date and unsafe, no repairs even when a pipe broke and flooded the apartment and ruined the walls... finally strong armed them into coming and they just painted over the mold. Guy who lived in building was basically the super just because he was a nice guy who lived there a long time and they forced him out in a terrible lawsuit where they cut his fences down when he had dogs. No super, no one comes in emergency, heat goes out all the time, hot water goes out all the time. Simple repairs take weeks - months if you ever get any. One set of washer and dryers that were never cleaned and broke often. This could be an amazing building but the owner is a true New York nightmare if you are looking for the experience. Gets Columbia parents to pay 6 months in advance then screws them, raises the rent on anyone who complains.
Advice to owner:
Sell your building.

Beware of this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The elevator and laundry is fine
Cons:
Owners will not respond unless you threaten to withhold rent. My BF and I have been trying to get a copy of the lease for over a month now with no response. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything. The intercom doesn’t work so you have no idea who is buzzing and for what. We have also been assaulted by people stealing packages from the lobby.
