Bad maintenance and water issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Furnished, decent amenities
Cons:
Frequent unannounced water shutoffs and elevator failures

Good if you’re desperate
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, comfortable rooms, no pest problems, furnished & utilities included a nice plus. Another big plus for me was they don’t require the crazy 40x rent income/broker fee/a million documents that other rentals do in manhattan, making it doable for me as a student not familiar with the NYC rental game.
Cons:
WAY overpriced esp with rate increase. Placed in a room with NO natural light (literally no difference between night and day) (though was able to change to a (more expensive!) room which was better). Neighbors can be a bit noisy esp when doors are right next to each other. And it’s been two months and still haven’t gotten my security deposit back yet :(

Not bad, but definitely can find better elsewhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, that’s mainly it
Cons:
Studio was tiny and basically no natural light. Slow elevators.

Good Short Term Rental
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really easy move in, as everything is furnished, and the water pressure is phenomenal. The person who works at the front desk is super kind and helpful.
Cons:
My room did not have a functioning radiator so I had to use a really small space heater. But they provided me with the space heater
