Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for 132 East 45 Street in Manhattan praise its proximity to the subway, quiet neighbors, responsive staff, and good water pressure. However, roach sightings, inconsistent hot water supply, and pest control issues are recurring concerns. While some tenants appreciate the building's cleanliness, amenities, and great location near transportation hubs, others highlight issues like noise levels, garbage management, and laundry room conditions. Recommendations include enhancing pest control, improving water temperature consistency, and addressing elevator odors. Overall, the building offers convenience but may require attention to maintenance and pest management for an enhanced living experience.

If you ignore the roaches, it's fine

Pros

I lived here 2019 - 2021 - it was cheap, close to the subway, laundry in the building, and had quiet neighbors.

Cons

Roaches - roaches in my apartment, as well as the laundry room & trash areas.

Okay…could be better

Pros

Maintenance guy is great and always available. I NEVER hear my neighbors. Very quiet

Cons

If you live facing the street it’s super loud. Worst thing is if you take a shower around 6-8pm there’s like no hot water.

Advice to the owners

Fix the water and clean the elevators they stink
