Please do not live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
the location is nice, the neighbors are quiet, and the other tenants are respectful. the building is old so the units are large
Cons:
Horrible pest control. Moved out quickly (less than one full months) as a result of a severe cockroach issue in my apartment that extermination services provided by the building did NOT abate. Not only was there an incredible amount of cockroaches in the unit on a daily basis - there were ensign wasps as well, which are parasitic insects that feed on cockroach egg cases :) - among several other types of insects.

The super in the building is aggressive and unavailable, as is the broker who "helped" me get this unit (and charged me a fee). I had a very dangerous gas leak in my unit that the super aggressively told me i should NOT have called ConEdison but rather called him - as my gas was turned off due to the extremely hazardous conditions. Other tenants in the buidlings had severe leaks from the ceiling and were told by the super "this is just what is when you live in New York".

Please do not live here - management and super do not care about their tenants and you will be miserable.
Advice to owner:
shut down your business
