Former Tenant
Pros:
Not too many apartments, landlord is responsive over text or email, rent seems decent for the price in this neighborhood
Cons:
Occasional pest control issues (rare), packages occasionally stolen, only stairs
Advice to owner:
Work on pest control more

Great location, riddled with rodents and bugs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent location that can’t be beat. Laundry in building.
Cons:
No keyless entry to building, noise level is bad due to proximity to NYPD and FDNY and bars/restaurants. Pest control is horrible. Rodents and cockroaches are rampant everywhere. AC units in the wall aren’t even sealed to keep outside air out of the apartment. ELECTRIC BILL IS INSANE IN WINTER MONTHS DUE TO ELECTRIC HEAT.
Advice to owner:
Increase pest control. Also control your tenants or get keyless entry to building because far too often people get locked out late night and try to break down the front door. It’s insanely obnoxious.
