Good building overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
Value for money is great I think given the location and that the building itself is quite good. I don’t have anything else to compare with - obviously it’s not a modern type of building, but it’s cool. Plus, there are laundry, doormen, super in. The view from my apartment was just a dream. So I would highly recommend this building despite the con that I am about to write :)
Cons:
Well after being absent for a few months, I found dead cockroaches in my bathroom…other than that, I don’t have anything else to complain about. They reacted quickly to that - ordered a free service that cleans up pipes from roaches (forgot the name of that). Heat is good but when it’s too cold, may not be enough.
Advice to owner:
I don’t really know. My apartment was refurbished before I moved in which was super nice. Plus my rent was on average less compared to what apartments in other buildings with doormen, laundry and super cost across Manhattan. So I was happy!
