decent building but high prices
Former Tenant
Pros:
the staff at the front are lovely and the best part of living there. our unit was quiet, but YMMV depending on where you are in the building.
Cons:
the units are pretty outdated and they recently jacked up our rent by 17%, so we moved out.

Decent doorman building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management was quick to answer any issues Building was clean Doormen were friendly and helpful
Cons:
When I got my keys and went to my apartment for the first time I soon realized I had roaches. Management did come and fix it quickly and I had no more issues after that.
My heat was broken for about 3 weeks. Maintenance had to come try several different fixes and it took a little time.
Walls are paper thin. Could hear everything my neighbor did.

Decent place to live, but it’s NOT a luxury building
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s pet friendly and the doormen are really nice.
Cons:
The landlord is GREEDY! It’s a basic building, nothing special and the landlord wants to raise my rent 20% a month!!!
Advice to owner:
STOP BEING SO GREEDY!!!!!

Decent place to live most of the time
Former Tenant
Pros:
Central in Manhattan, close to grand central. The apartments are generally pretty quiet with good noise isolation.
Cons:
There are some pest problems from time to time and the hallways could get vacuumed more often.
Advice to owner:
Invest in maintenance personnel and more frequent pest control.
Overall OK; pest control needs to get under control
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen are great, sizable studios and lots of space
Cons:
Maintenance and pest control. Had a full mice infestation and building did nothing about it aside from sticky traps and said good luck. I enjoyed my time here but the lack of assistance left a bad taste in my mouth. They filled one hole from the wall but it took about a 3 week period to resolve.
Building is a bit Dated, but it’s what you should expect from an old building
Advice to owner:
Timeliness - more routine pest control visits

Spacious studio apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love how spacious the studio is, doorman’s are responsive, barely any bugs. Lived here for 2 years probably saw only 3 roaches in my apartment total. Management quick to respond to service requests or issues.
Cons:
Laundry room is never cleaned, washers have scum buildup, grand central area can be a little busy
