Wouldn’t go back to this place ever at all!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Size of kitchen? Strange set up
Cons:
Only got hot or cold water in shower head. The shower head that we had- would only spit out burning hot water or cold if we turned off the water completely. When discussed we were told that we were lucky we got hot water on an upper floor. This resulted in taking a fast colder shower, a bath or going to the gym.
In the smaller room black mold like stuff grew out from the wall, and was found when I moved the bed.
Mouse came into the apartment through a gap at the front door abs ran through the apartment and disappeared into the wall. An entire group came in together.
Landlord was not concerned. There was cosmetic damage caused by a previous tenant-that they fixed over with the wrong material (I don’t know I’m not handy) but with regular use it chipped and rubbed off and they insinuated that we had caused damage and they might come after us.
Walked in when we moved in to red painted floors.
In addition- some units were rent stabilized but not told until we had to be by the city.
Additionally we were only given one set of keys so we returned one and disposed of the other and they demanded them.
The shower was a huge deal. And the mice. And the trash. In addition, in somewhere between 2005-2007 it was rent stabilized at 1520. Now it’s 2900.
Advice to owner:
Keep trash better in area. Fix problems.
