Run, don’t walk

Pros:
Location. The super is nice.
Cons:
This roof leaks on multiple floors when it rains and the building has a roach infestation despite management offering free exterminations every month. Management is quite unhelpful and at times abrasive, and their only solution is to slap a fresh coat of paint over water damage.
Apartments on the west smell like the garbage pile which is located directly to the west of the building. Apartments on the east are very loud from 1st Avenue. Try your luck elsewhere.
Advice to owner:
Be upfront about the low quality of this apartment and the roach infestation. Hire someone to take care of the roaches once and for all. Fix the roof.
