DO NOT LIVE AT 340 E 52ND STREET
Former Tenant
Pros:
NOTHING. Only the doormen are capable of doing their jobs here. The ownership is fraudulent and improperly induced tenants into signing leases on false pretenses. FRAUD.
Cons:
If I could give this place no stars, I would. I moved in July 2023, and the entire building was under crazy construction, which was news to me. Upon move in, none of my appliances worked and there was construction from 8AM - 5PM every single day. My "new" dishwasher exploded, and I had to use every single one of my towels to clean it up. I did not receive another dishwasher for months. I have an in-unit washer dryer which has yet to be hooked up, since these nimrods could not upgrade the electrical system in time for new tenants. Fast forward months later, the ceiling in my bathroom exploded and I had a 3-day long leak. The super (whom does not live in the building, despite the false and misleading and fraudulent StreetEasy listing) said he could not help me. The kind doorman had to handle the 3L of water which leaked into my bathroom, ruining all of my belongings.
Further, the "staff" of this management company are incapable of answering the phone, together with their email. Leticia James should investigate these freaks. They are fraudulent, and constantly turn off the heat and water for "repairs." NO one responds to your issues and no one helps. Further, these con artists placed provisions in the lease so tenants cannot help themselves.
DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. DO NOT FUND THESE PEOPLE.

Former Tenant
Pros:
No rodents Friendly doormen
Cons:
New management is not responsive with problems we’ve had such as clogged bathtub
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive when tenants have issues with their apartment that need fixing
