Great building, poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, amazing doormen, large bright apartments
Cons:
Terrible management, laundry room only open until 11pm, washer/dryers always broken, lots of dogs that pee in the elevators and lobby, unnecessary MCI charges
Advice to owner:
My advice is to answer the phone or call tenants back when they have an issue. Also stop charging renters for building repairs when things decay due to lack of upkeep! Please perform routine maintenance.

nice place with great management
Former Tenant
Pros:
great management, lovely furnishing
Cons:
was hard to open front door at times, it is very close to the queensboro bridge so it was loud often.

Large units, great staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff is fantastic, and one of the few buildings in NYC where the apartments seem bigger than the listings claim
Cons:
Management is sort of disorganized; it took 4 months to get our counter-signed renewal back this year, and they obviously weren't used to back-and-forth negotiations over rent prices like happened in 2020.
First Avenue gets a bit noisy at rush hour going up to the Queenboro Bridge.
