Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 2 years. The doormen and porters are excellent and very friendly. I always felt safe. The gym is great, pool is awesome, and roof is great when not under construction.
Cons:
The neighbors can be tough. If someone leaves their clothes in the laundry for a minute too late, it is customary for the neighbors to throw that individuals clothes on the floor. There have been some squabbles in the laundry room. There was also too much construction.
Advice to owner:
Continue to keep your great doormen. Make sure some people aren’t ruining the experience for their neighbors.

Great building in midtown east
Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly staff, especially doormen, maintenance, and packages Generally clean building Great amenities - rooftop, gym, laundry, pool, dry cleaning in-building
Cons:
Laundry room can get busy At least in our unit, we have hard water, so we have to get filters which is a bit of a pain
Advice to owner:
Staff here is great and they make the building what it is

Well managed building - but onsite manager biased against minorities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very helpful people at mailroom, the porters are super nice, and friendly doormen and maintenance guys. These are the people who give you the memorable experience.
Cons:
If you are a minority, you won’t get treated well as much as the white people by the onsite manager and even the leasing people.
Advice to owner:
Please don’t be discriminating towards your tenants and treat them all equally.
