Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
I’ve lived here for a number of years and feel it’s a great value. It has 24/7 doorman, laundry in the basement and elevator. Doormen are very friendly as are the neighbors. I’ve always felt safe in this building.
Cons:
It’s a very old building so we have experienced issues with mice and cockroaches, though most people in NYC regardless of where they live deal with this. Walls are thin so you may hear noise or smell smoke from neighbors. They implemented COVID precautions very well.
Advice to owner:
To the landlord - please be friendlier to those in the building :)

• 24 hour doorman
• great location next to several train lines (6, E, M, Q)
• large apartments for a very reasonable price
• laundry in building
Cons:
• can be a little bit loud at times if your windows face 1st Ave
