great apartment but management could be improved
Former Tenant
Pros:
great amount of space, central air /heat (when it actually worked) and new finishes / updated kitchen and bathroom. two units in building so quiet and little concern of package theft.
Cons:
communication with management company is inconsistent and disorganized. multiple times our ac broke and it took weeks to fix. our heat broke too and that took 5 days to fix in the middle of the winter. management demanded our lease begin on the 15th of the month yet we were consistently questioned when rent was not paid on the first of each month. communications about maintenance were slowly responded to and resolved. Shower in one of the bathrooms routinely would not drain and we ended up having to fix ourselves. Key broke in the lock upon move in and the management took a month to reimburse us for locksmith expenses.
Advice to owner:
Improve communications among the management team and improve responsiveness
