4 Year Resident loves building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The amenities are great! The building staff is kind and responsive to any request.
Cons:
Building management itself could be a little kinder, I did not interact with management much but they were very short with me.

Solid Building, Nice Employees
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen and maintenance guys are great, it's clean and there are always available washing machines. They are responsive to any issues we have had.
Cons:
We have found a few cockroaches in the kitchen. Water pressure was terrible so we bought a new head which works well but now the drain clogs very easily so they have to come snake it often
Advice to owner:
Invest in better drains

The Fairfax Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet building in terms of neighbors. Doormen are mostly pleasant. No bugs that I’ve seen. Decent gym for the space.
Cons:
Lot of internal construction can hear through walls. No grill on roof deck.

Don’t rent in this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location near subway and restaurants
Cons:
Management is terrible. I had to move out and break my lease due to covid in 2020 and management wouldn’t work with me in any way. Heartless people. I strongly suggest you stay away from this building.

Cons:

Wanted to stay, but....
Former Tenant
Pros:
We LOVED a the doormen and building staff. Great people & super helpful.
Cons:
In two years we caught FOUR mice. Management pretends to care, but ultimately doesn’t do anything about it. We weren’t the only tenants with this problem. It’s an old building, and with the construction from TARGET In the basement all the rodents have moved upstairs.
Advice to owner:
Get the mice situation under control and when a tenant has complained for the FOURTH time do more than just put traps down, find the point of entry and fix it!!!

Shabby apts
Former Tenant
Pros:
Full service building with great doormen.
Cons:
If you are looking for an apt building where you need to open the refrigerator in order to open a cabinet door, this is the place for you. Old inefficient electric heat that creates high bills. Vermin in the laundryroom. During covid, this building didn’t care about what hardship you went thru. They dropped rent for new tenants but not old.
Advice to owner:
Lose the greed.

Home Sweet Home
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived in this building for 2.5 years and LOVED it. Doorman are so friendly. Location is great. Maintenance was responsive and quick.
Cons:
The laundry room was often very busy and kind of expensive
Advice to owner:
Front office could be nicer when it comes to negotiating new lease terms, especially in the middle of a pandemic.

Solid doorman building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Door staff & maintenance very helpful, good laundry room, generally well maintained building.
Cons:
Rents are high for quality of apartment finishes, dealt with mice and roaches. Multiple issues with people smoking cigarettes and pot in apartments - mgmt did nothing. Mgmt offered no rent breaks during COVID results in existing tenants dramatically overpaying (1k+).
Advice to owner:
Update beyond the bare minimum.
